International Women’s Day (IWD) falls on March 8 and is a globally recognized holiday established by the United Nations to mark the anniversary of the New York seamstress strike. At Hard Rock Cafe Prague, women will be celebrating the whole month of March. There will be a limited offer of cocktails, a charity T-shirt, but also a concert by the singer Andrea Kalousová, which will take place on Women’s Day on March 8.
Throughout the month of March, a Rock Women’s Health charity t-shirt will be available for purchase at the Hard Rock Cafe Rock Shop, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Magee-Womens Research Institute, a research center dedicated exclusively to the health issues of women and their children. More information about the organization at https://mageewomens.org/.
A rich music program will also be prepared. Every Friday from March 10 HRC DJ will play on the stage. On March 8, singer Andrea Kalousová will perform at MDŽ, who will play an almost hour-long set with her band. The concert will start at 8:30 p.m. and admission will be free.
From March 1 to 31, the drink offer will be expanded to include three cocktails, the Rock and Rosé Spritz made of rosé prosecco and elderberry liqueur St. Germain Elderflower, Cause-Mo from vodka and Cointreau orange liqueur, or the non-alcoholic option Strawberry Basil Lemonade, a refreshing blend of strawberries and basil.
