The Eurojackpot fell again yesterday in the Czech Republic. The winner takes home almost 235 million crowns.

In the European Eurojackpot lottery, luck smiled on the Czech again. The man won 234,900,000 crowns yesterday. Eurojackpot is the most widespread lottery in Europe, which originated in Finland and is now played in eighteen countries. Since October 2014, also in the Czech Republic, since March 29, 2022, Eurojackpot allows you to choose a drawing day not only on Friday, but also on Tuesday.

“The Czech Republic is in tenth place out of eighteen countries with 80 millionaires with winnings worth a total of 4.6 billion. Our record win was in May 2015. A bettor from the Pardubice region won 2.466 billion crowns at that time,” says Sazka spokeswoman Pavla Hobíková.

So far, the highest Jackpot fell last summer in Denmark. A bettor from Denmark won almost three billion crowns in the Eurojackpot. The man who bought his ticket at the Meny supermarket in the town of Blavand in the west of the country took away almost three billion crowns.
