The popular singer and author of many hits, Michal David, releases the follow-up to the successful album Funky. Under the name Funky 2 is a collection of 22 hits, again in a new funky version. The godfathers of the new album were the singer Monika Bagárová and Jan Bendig, who together with Dara Rollins also played in the new clip for the second single from the album Funky, what do you like. Many other celebrities from among David’s friends also attended the christening of the record and the premiere of the clip. There were Jiřina Bohdalová, Majk Spirit, Leoš Mareš or Sagvan Tofi and others, the event was moderated by Lukáš Pavlásek.
Michal David received a multi-platinum record in 2022 for the number one sale. The album, which was bought by over 20,000 fans, was continued this year and offers a collection of well-known hits such as Šoumen, Nenapovídej, Chtěl bych žít tak, jak se má and also the new Funky, co máš rád or Nádhernej příběh.
Even these big hits were adapted by Michal David into a funky style together with the Roma brothers MilkoBrothers: “The interest in Funky’s first album made me extremely happy. The positive reactions of the fans motivated us to prepare other songs in new arrangements. At the same time, I added a few novelties to the album,” says the hitmaker with a smile.
The album is now on sale exclusively in the PENNY network of stores throughout the Czech Republic until November 24. From Friday it will be available on all streaming platforms and in selected stores.
