A new band, which gives Lenka Dusilová’s timeless repertoire a new sparkle and contemporary sound, projections by the well-known VJ Linda Arbanová, guest musician and trumpeter Oskar Török or background singer Alen. The nine-time winner of the annual Andel Music Awards is bringing all this to the Akropolis Palace on 8 December.
For the first time on a larger stage, she will present her new band Lenka Dusilová BAND, which, in addition to guitarist Igor Ochepovský, includes keyboardist Jan Aleš, bassist Ondřej Hauser and drummer Michal “Kolouch” Daněk. Tickets are on pre-sale at www.palacakropolis.cz.
“Brilliant musicians, who are a generation younger than me, are very aware of the current scene, reflecting modern arrangements and sound. They add new energy to the selection of pieces from my existing original repertoire. The skills and chemistry of this band open up new possibilities and ideas for me. I am looking forward to a new musical world of more straightforward sound and compositions that I am currently attracted to. Especially for this concert, Lenka also invited video maker and VJ Linda Arbanova, who will enhance the artistic experience of the concert with her visuals. The playlist will include songs from her latest album Řeka, which was awarded with three Andels, as well as older songs that Lenka Dusilová has not played for a long time.
The performance starts at 8 pm. The hall will open to visitors at 7:30 pm.
