Every year in October, Hard Rock Cafe Prague is dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness and the fight against this insidious disease. The campaign, called PINKTOBER™, will offer limited edition merch and on Thursday, October 26, 2023, a charity concert by rock-pop band So Fine and singer Lenka Konvičková aka KETTIE.
The Rock Shop at Hard Rock Cafe is offering limited edition merch throughout October, featuring a t-shirt, sweatshirt or pin. Ten percent of the sale of each product then goes to benefit the Women’s Breast Cancer Alliance, a charitable organization that has served as an information and education center for the public, cancer patients and their organizations since 2002. At the same time, it provides methodological assistance to cancer patient organisations, coordinates projects and campaigns in favour of breast cancer prevention and treatment, unites the efforts of patient organisations and individuals to promote the rights and equal conditions for the treatment and recovery of women with breast cancer, and represents Czech cancer patients in international structures.
The PINKTOBER™ campaign will culminate in a concert evening at the Hard Rock Cafe Prague on Thursday 26 October. Czech singer Lenka Konvičková, who performs under the pseudonym KETTIE, will perform on the HRC stage from 8 o’clock. Konvičková is also a participant of the current series of the reality show Love Island. At 8:30 she will be replaced by the pop-rock band So Fine, fronted by British singer Ged Maloney. There will be a voluntary entrance fee for the concert and proceeds will also go to the Women’s Breast Cancer Alliance.
