On Tuesday, October 10, the Italian operatic pop trio Il Volo will perform in the Czech Republic for the first time. Their first Prague concert will take place in the O2 arena and promises a unique show full of passion and unforgettable songs.
The singer Tereza Mašková will also sing one song with the band, which consists of tenors Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and baritone Gianluca Ginoble, and Hungarian singer and composer Simply Ben will be the opening act of the concert.
Tereza Mašková is a fan of Il Volo, so she was extremely happy when they chose her as a guest of the Prague concert.
“I still can’t believe this is going to happen. I appreciate it very much and I am sincerely happy about it. I remember when I was about fifteen or sixteen years old and I told my mother that one day I would sing with them, and now it will come true, I’m really looking forward to it,” smiles Tereza Mašková, who has always gravitated towards Italian music. Mašková will sing their song Canzone per te with Il Volo and is already preparing for her dream performance. “I’m happy that I’m going to sing this song a lot because it’s one of my favorites. I listen to it even more now and I found an Italian teacher to help me with the correct pronunciation. Let me not embarrass myself,” she adds.
Hungarian singer and songwriter SIMPLY BEN will be the frontman of the concert: “It’s a huge opportunity for me and I’ve been thinking a lot about the setlist. We’ll be playing songs from my past, but we’re also working on a lot of new songs that are the result of a really exotic time in my life before. I love these songs and I love my band, so I hope this vibe resonates with the audience. All I want is to give them memories they’ll never forget,” the singer said of his first performance at the O2 arena.
